We are clinical therapists with a variety of school psychology experience that provide trainings to school clinicians and school communities.

  • You can sign up for a past training, or an upcoming live training, and we are sponsors of CPDUs by the National Association of School Psychologists and Illinois Department of Professional Regulation.

Instructors

John Frampton, Psy.D.

Clinical Psychologist

Dr. John Frampton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Co-Founder of Formative Psychological Services, a multi-site private practice in Chicago that provides therapy, school-based neuropsychological assessments, and school consultation. He is an adjunct professor with the School of Education at Loyola University Chicago. Prior to co-founding FPS, Dr. Frampton was the Director of a therapeutic day high school.

Doug Bolton, Ph.D.

Doug Bolton is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Director of School Consultation for Formative Psychological Services. He spent over 20 years as a psychologist and principal at North Shore Academy, a K-12 therapeutic school in Highland Park. Dr. Bolton provides consultation, supervision and professional development to parents, educators, and clinicians throughout northern Illinois to create communities that help foster student and staff resilience.

Jesus Ramos, Ph.D

Jesus Ramos was born and raised in Norco, California. Jesus attended Hope International University in Fullerton, California where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. In 2012, Jesus was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps and served until March of 2018 where he received an Honorable Discharge at the rank of Captain. After his time in service, he attended Loyola University Chicago where he served as part of a Student Advisory Council and a Student Committee Working Group. While attending Loyola, Jesus received the Civic Engagement and Social Justice Award in March, 2020. Jesus is currently a psychotherapist with Formative Psychological Services in Chicago, Illinois and is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago for the School Psychology program in the School of Education & Alverno College in Milwaukee Wisconsin as part of their multicultural & multilingual school psychology certification program.
